Schoenstatt is one of the seven Movements and New Communities coordinating the Catholic Ecclesial Movements and New Communities in the U.S. since 2015.
– Schoenstatt is responsible for the communication of MovCom.US, including website, videos, newsletters, etc.
– When Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone was chair of the Committee on Laity, Marriage, Family Life and Youth of USCCB (Nov. 2019 – Nov. 2022), he asked MovCom.US to present three members as candidates to be consultants to the secretariat, representing Movements and New Communities in the USA, so that he would choose one. He chose Enrique Soros for this responsibility for the three years of his mandate.
